Subete ga F ni Naru: The Perfect Insider 04

This week on Living with Moe, Moe bakes a Pineapple upside-down cake. Sensei discusses the finer points of chain smoking, and new best girl Michiru gives us a rundown on home security.

Ever felt the need to express unrequited feelings while hanging out in Sensei’s office? Well, now you can. Begna-sensei is looking for students to fawn over him as a way to increase his ego. Head over to our recruitment page to get started.

This week lets enjoy the MV of the song the OP is based on before it gets a DMCA takedown notice.

Does the live action covers the same materials as the anime?

    • itsP

      So far, yes.

Both the live action and the anime have the faculty room character introductions. But the first murder mystery they encounter is different (the Polar Research Lab is the first mystery in the live action series and the Magata lab arc is the third mystery). The live action series has 5 murder mysteries running two episodes each (so about about 90 minutes per mystery). Here, however, we’re almost half way and we’re still on the first mystery. I’m going to take an educated guess and assume the anime is only going to cover the mysteries that relate to Dr. Magata.

If you’re interested in the live action series I seriously suggest waiting until after you’ve finished the season, otherwise you’ll spoiler yourself.

It’s worth noting that the book the series is named after is just one volume. There’s are 10 volumes in all and in addition there are a bunch of short side stories, so not even the live action has adapted all the available material.

Thanks for the info. 11 episodes covering only one mystery seems like a stretch so either the live action left out some stuff or the anime is planning to add in stuff. In any case, guess I won’t be watching the live action for another month or so. QQ

Would love to read the novels, do you know if they ever got an English translation, and if so, know where I can buy them?

To my knowledge, the books have not been translated.

    Thank you!

  • Flaccid

Sorry to annoy you but whats up with Noragami?

    • itsP

Soon. Delays caused by Real Life happen sometimes.

  • Kuuhaku

I really hope Seraph won’t be delayed like the last time

    • itsP

It shouldn’t be. But if it is delayed, we promise to have a new never-before-seen original excuse for the delay. That way it won’t be like the last time.
