  Who here uses KCP (kawaii codec pack) to watch this?

  Dunno why but the special fonts for the subtitle (like opening) are not showing correctly for this episode… ep1 and 2 is ok but with this episode it’s all Arial of same size…

  Dumb question, just want to ask it for my own learning sake:

  How’d you guys fix the issue with MPC-HC causing the subs to appear larger than they should?

  I’ve encountered it before in other downloads (not from you guys) and have never known how to fix it.

  My initial assumptions would usually be that the Styles were formatted wrong and made too large, but that’s usually not the case. Other than that I think I did Resampling the script size once and it didn’t really change anything lol

  As I said, dumb question so feel free to ignore, just wanted to ask it for the sake of my own learning; thanks for the release as usual~

    The problem in this case was I somehow managed to change the font mime-type on all the fonts to “someone”. Still no idea how that happened.

    It appears that MPV/VLC/other players based on libass ignore the font mime-type, while xy-vs/SubFilter are drastically effected by it. I believe the best option for those renderers is to set the mime-type to truetype for all fonts. That might solve your issues in the future.

    Alternatively, switch to MPV. Most fansub groups are only supporting that now because libass has come so far and is still somewhat actively maintained.

  As a recent discharge from the Rudolf Erich Raspe Home for the Easily Bewildered as well as being someone who easily becomes obsessed with minutiae, I have a question about the “Domestic na Kanojo (3/12)04 @ TLC, Edit, Timing” listing.
  I understand that the “TL” code refers to translation and the “QC” code refers to quality check, but am not sure about “TLC”. Is the “TLC” code a stand-in for “QC”?

    TLC means translation check, so they use a translation as a base and just make sure it’s correct.
