    CCCP is heavily outdated and should not be used for fansubs. That’s what your issue is.

    MPV > MPC-HC+MadVR+XySubFilter > VLC > CCCP.

      MPV is shit if you can get MadVR settings right.
      And your method is strange. I work with .bat files for MadVR.

    the intro is meant to glitch in the style of the opening credits, it goes between red, white and black and will move around a bit

    Some of the staff members are overworked with Boogiepop, and working on this show is quite taxing, especially in the typesetting department.
    Just be a little patient. It’s worth it.

    If you want the video without subtitles, disable the subtitles in your player or download MKVToolNix GUI, drag our mkv file in, uncheck the sub files, and then click start and it’ll make a new file without the subs included.
