    Do you use the 720p or the 1080p CR video as source for the encode? I’m just curious as I noticed the difference in file size on this release compared to the last two (this one is also larger than the 720p HorribleSubs file)

      I’m not sure why this encode was so much larger than usual. I’ll have to ask the encoder when he wakes up. But we use the 1080p source and then downscale.

      I used the 1080p CR as raw then downscale to 720p. CR is known to smooth out a lot of detail and there a quite some signs left of smoothed out grain from the original source, well I recreated that grain making the video a lot bigger than usual.

      @HX…i guess, the encoder used crf 16 in here instead of crf 18 like the previous releases..that explains the big diffrence in size plus the grains..

    Is there any chance you’ll going to use uncensored version (if there’s any) of this? ’cause from what I watched in this episode, There’s a ray of black light censoring the torn in half kuroha neko.

      We can check atx on friday but I feel like it wont be uncensored. Crunchyroll video hasn’t been censoring gore lately if the source is uncensored.

    Wow, unless there is some deep seeded reasoning…he just happened to have read in a book what the codes on pills stand for and figure out where they are manufactured? That is some god awful storytelling right there.
