  Are DDY shitposting at this point?
  I mean they can’t be for real right?
  I’ve just returned from my vacation to see that they have picked up ANOTHER seasonal.
  Together with the two shows from Winter 2018 they didn’t stall yet, the one from Spring 2019 where they released three episodes and haven’t touched ever since they are “working on 5 shows, of which none of them has seen releases at least somewhat regularly (except for arguably Boogiepop in the beginning).
  I fucking HATE to be the asshole complaining about free stuff like an entitled fag, but if you’re gonna have this high release quality like DDY like DDY does why’d you take on so much work when you have such a backlog to finish.
  Ok, obv. they don’t have to finish anything, but they kinda made it their goal themselves. How about not doing five shows but on or two but actually finishing them?
  Again, sorry for sounding like an asshole.

    DDY isn’t a monad. Each project has its own team, with its own challenges. See how the names at the above link are different? (If you spot people on multiple teams, like Begna, I guarantee you they aren’t the ones stalling—it’s always someone who’s only working on that project.) You don’t generally want people subbing in between teams, because that can mess up the consistency of the product. Thus, if you have five people working on no project (or four people doing nothing and one with nothing to do because someone else on their team is constantly stalling), there’s no reason not to pick something new up to occupy them. It won’t affect the other projects.
