  I initially started watching DameDesuYo’s releases of Noragami when the show aired on TV. When I got to episode 3, I was surprised to find that the names of cast shown in the end credits were very different from what I was expecting to see. Then I checked other sources and realised that DameDesuYo had swapped out the original ED. This continued in episode 4 so I switched to another group’s releases.

  I dug further into DameDesuYo’s non-BD releases today, and below was what I found.

  Ep01: Original ED
  Ep02: Original ED
  Ep03: Ep01 ED
  Ep04: Ep01 ED
  Ep05: Ep01 ED
  Ep06: Ep01 ED
  Ep07: Ep01 ED
  Ep08: Original ED
  Ep09: Ep07 ED
  Ep10: Ep07 ED
  Ep11: Ep01 ED
  Ep12: Original ED
  OAD1: Ep06 ED

  The retail BD volumes of Noragami include full credits in OP and ED, with NCOP and NCED being separately provided as bonus clips. I was hoping that’s what I will see in DameDesuYo’s BD releases, but sadly that’s not the case……

  By the way, DDY|Phino may be having issues at the moment. It kept timing out on me and wouldn’t establish a connection.

    Hm, I see. Well, unfortunately, there isn’t much I can do to help you. Here at DDY, our policy is to go with the best quality OP and ED and to use creditless OPED for BDs. This allows us to have a better looking release and more effective karaoke with more natural placement. Additionally, we are subbing for a non-Japanese speaking audience primarily. They cannot read the credits and we will not sub them so there is no reason for them to be there.

    As for the different ED clips, i’m actually surprised about the ones that don’t use the BS11 ep1 ED. BS11 had much higher quality video so we swapped it in for OP and ED but BS11 airs a week late so there is no way we could have waited for each weeks new ED. I can imagine that those are that way because the song begins before the ED video but I would have to check again. Episode 06 in the OAD is different because it used OP 2 and we used a different encoder who only had BS11 episode 6 to get the OPED from.

    Ultimately, i’m sorry to disappoint you but that’s not really going to change. :\ i hope that you’ll stick with us anyway.

      Gotcha. I will pass DDY’s BD releases of Noragami and keep another group’s TV releases instead. Thanks anyway.
