why havent u guys changed the ED karaoke, its incorrect. i even submitted a public QC. u guys didn’t write the song, u can’t just make up what he says
Because 1. TL hasnt had time to look at it. 2. Its easier to just wait for official lyrics in like a week and a half and fix anything that might be wrong instead of just this one error.

I think that song “meaning” doesn’t rly matter, since japanese songs are just stupid.

Since official lyrics almost always come out with an OP/ED single before the season ends, we usually don’t make any modifications (outside possible style edits) to our initial, unofficial translation. It’ll just end up being wasted effort, unless the song’s core meaning gets lost in our mistakes. We generally try to avoid making mistakes that are too huge, though.
Fansubbing is a hobby, and fansubbers do (and should) not expect compensation for anything they do.
If someone doesn’t feel like doing something for free, they will probably not do it, and you shouldn’t be too surprised.

I find this amusing. plz xpln 2 me y m8. They aren’t contracted or bound by anything. They can add any “trololol” if they feel like it and it changes nothing besides how they pursue their hobby.
