We now have the technology to record and playback dreams, here’s a snapshot of Rageo’s.
It’s done! Thanks to everyone for sticking with us throughout the delays. Our last info dump and staff credits are after the break.
Naturally there will be a batch of this soon and we’ll be doing the BD’s after that.
[Insert witty joke here about recruiting.] We’re in need of Translators and Translation checkers, Typesetters and KFXers. Skilled Editors and Quality Checkers are also welcome to apply. If any of these positions appeal to you, head over to our recruitment page to get started.

Once again the producers have been kind enough to provide some historical notes on the show’s homepage (Google translated).
Rosmerta of fertility!: Rosmerta was a goddess of fertility and abundance in the Gallo-Roman religion. She is oft depicted with the Roman god Mercury.
Mercurius: Or Mercury as he is more commonly called. He is the god of commerce and financial gain, eloquence, communication including divination, travelers, boundaries, luck, trickery, and thieves; he is also the guide of souls to the underworld.
Pax Dei: The Peace and Truce of God, by attaching sacred significance to privacy, helped create a space in which communal gatherings could take place and thus encouraged the reconstitution of public space at the village level. In the eleventh and twelfth centuries many a village grew up in the shadow of the church, in the zone of immunity where violence was prohibited under peace regulations.
Gabriel: An archangel who was primarily God’s messenger. As opposed to Michael who is the enforcer.
Pillar of Salt: Relates to the tale of Lot’s wife. In the Book of Genesis it describes how she became a pillar of salt after she looked back at Sodom. Basically being turned into a pillar of salt is a punishment dealt for malicious acts against God.
Thanks for all your work on this series!
Thanks for finishing it up.
At the end you guys have the narrator say that Maria came to live with her and Anne, but wasn’t the narrator saying that she was Anne? Just curious if that was a mistake or I’m misinterpreting it.
I think the narrator was the grandma not Anne. What makes you think the narrator is Anne? We might need to look at it again.
Rageo is love, Rageo is life!
Thank you so much for this!
Thanks I’m glad you guys finish it.
AWESOME!
Thanks so much for this episode and the many episodes before it! AND THOSE HOMEWORK NOTES!
You guys did awesome and it was worth the wait!
THANKS AGAIN FOR DOING THIS AND I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE WHAT YOU SUB NEXT!
Thanks, for the work you’ve done on this series! ^^
Now I’ll wait for denpa kyoushi and ‘le epic’ Punchline to be released XD
It is truly the best show of the year. So much ridiculous fun in it.
Wait, but Maria already found that special someone did she not?
Yeah, but then i’d have to think of a different witty comment.
Yeah, i guess it’s just us now (._. )
That poor bastard Bernard. Show of hands anyone feel sorry for the salty monk?
I…actually kinda do…DON”T HURT ME DDY STAFF…His hijinks kind of grew on me in the last few episodes. I wonder what exactly was in those scrolls of his. At first I thought Bernard found Agnosticism but now I’m thinking that was already a thing back then so surly it has to something better.
Hope we get an s2. This ending seems so pyrrhic. Sure it’s a happy ending but I can’t help but think that it came at too high a price with way too much weakness no exposed. Just thinking about Garfa or some other pleb learning of what happened and coming back gives me the creeps. Not to mention, I’d have loved seeing some “omnipotent” ass getting whooped.
And WTF is up with Joseph. His master had no problems with having Maria burned at the stake and he still bows to the lardtard. Boy’s no wuss but man does he have a few screws loose.
Just a quick question about history. It seemed to me they were using bamboo during the festival in the end. But did France if not Europe as a whole even have bamboo back then?
Still even with any flaws this anime is among my favorites ever. It was extremely refreshing seeing middle age combat depicted accurately. Was also fun seeing a good portrayal of foreign culture as opposed to just Japan by another name. Bit pissed we didn’t get to see !Jesus or !Satan. I was almost sure we’d be seeing at least one of them but it’s nothing that takes away from my enjoyment at all. This anime is 5 out of 5.
I sincerely thank everyone at DDY for making these wonderful subs happen♥
