Are you guys sure the “metia” word is actually not the katakana pronunciation of “meteor” (ミーティア). I think CR got the word wrong.

Hmm… Both romanizations are equally valid. However, one could potentially be confused with 流星 while the other wouldn’t.
If they wanted the term to mean Meteor, the manga would have used the kanji for Meteor, not a phonetic spelling.
The term isn’t consistent across adaptations either. Take the original WN for example:
そんなスバルの確信を後押しするように、ロム爺は携帯電話を手に取って眺めながら、 「初めて見るが……これが話に聞く、『魔法器』というやつかの」 「魔法器？」 聞き慣れない単語の出現にスバルが首を傾げる。At the end of the day it doesn’t matter, so long as the term used for such magical devices in whatever medium is consistent.

I don’t know why I cannot leave replies to comments, but continuing the thread started by Klawdij, on itsP’s first comment, that “we release whenever it’s ready” is not accurate, since there are chapters stuck at @Release, meaning that they are ready, but for some reason have yet to be released.
Still, “soon” means “soon”, and that’s “just wait”. Waiting has never killed anyone, if we exclude those waiting for salvation from their deadly circumstances and those who wouldn’t have died had they not been waiting.
