Sorry for the delay. Two people were sick this week, including the TLC.
In this episode, Subaru is given a nickname: Barusu. The name is created by swapping the “su” to the end of his name. So Subaru -> Barusu.
The name is actually a meme in Japan originating from the anime movie Castle in the Sky. The word barusu is used as a blinding curse in it and referenced as the same in this episode. You can read more about it here.
We’ve decided to follow the common conventions of how to romanize this word and the meme. Therefore his nickname is localized as “Balse.”

Time for itsP to get hyped!
Regular readers will note that I get hyped about shows far too often. The hype is always based on source material. Usually, this results in DDY picking up something.
Sometimes it works out well, like The Perfect Insider or Danmachi. Sometimes the adaptation falls short, like ISUCA (Remaining BD volumes soon™, I promise). Sometimes the hype fails to eventuate here, as with Twintails.
Next season’s hype is Part One of a three part OVA series. Each OVA is six months apart! :O
Seven Seas’ blurb describes the series as:
Hatori Chise has lived a life full of neglect and abuse, devoid of anything resembling love. Far from the warmth of family, she has had her share of troubles and pitfalls. Just when all hope seems lost, a fateful encounter awaits her. When a man with the head of a beast, wielding strange powers, obtains her through a slave auction, Chise’s life will never be the same again.

Some good news; Not only is there an OVA coming next season, but an adaptation of Aiz’s side story – Sword Oratoria – is in planning.
Can’t wait for more Dungeons? Why not pick up one of the LN series? Danmachi – Sword Oratoria – Ryuu Gaiden (Eventually)
Aside from content that either wasn’t animated and scenes that were shuffled about, the main difference between our release here and the official LN translation is they call Ryuu “Lyu”. Eww.
Episodes 1 through 4 have had re-encodes, so there’s no patches available for these.
Episodes 10 and 13 have had minor script updates. Patches are linked below.

I made the same face when logarithm didn’t stall the show as long as he has CD.
We’ve got video sources sorted (this episode should contain less blocks than last episode!) and we’ve got KFX now so subsequent episodes should be out in about 12-24 hours after amazon airs as long as we nail down better scheduling.
